2013 & BEYOND

Any ideas to improve the software

2013 & BEYOND

Postby waynet » Sun Mar 17, 2013 10:18 am

Alex,

Couple of quick queries...

(i) The link for OWMiner is?

(ii) WTA tennis?

(iii) ATP Tennis. Just wondering why this week's Indian Wells was accessed via the ATP Singles, rather than the ATP Singels HARD? Every tourney this week, from the biggest to the smallest minor tourney are on HARD, EXCEPT a tourney in Croatia on clay.

Thanks for your time.

OW Data Miner is here:

Indian Wells could be accessed via both leagues: ATP Singles and ATP Singles Hard. However ATP Singles Hard should be used for this and others hard surface tournaments.

WTA is not available yet, sorry.

FURTHER ATP QUERY

Postby waynet » Thu Apr 11, 2013 11:28 am

Alex,

As mentioned above, it seems certainly that any ATP hard court tourneys will be found at ATP Singles. This week's two in Morocco & USA, I have checked ATP Singles Hard but they are not there, yet all is OK with them at ATP Singles. Just confirming that for certain, all clay court tournaments & all grass court tournaments will be on their respective links, ATP Singles Clay & ATP Singles Grass.

Thanks for your time.

Players who participate in one or another tournament may vary considerably in time. That's why some games in Singles Hard (Clay, Grass) may be missing despite that we're constantly adjusting the participants pool. In such cases, we prefer to add missing players post-factum from the last games in a tournament because fixtures with "brand new" players will show the odds shaded by blue anyway (i.e. not recommended to bet on). As a result of this policy regarding new players, we try to present only reliable pairings in the published tennis league files.

WTA tennis has been added to the list of regularly updated leagues.
Now four WTA leagues are supported: WTA-Singles, WTA-Singles-Clay, WTA-Singles-Hard, and WTA-Singles-Grass.
